Saving lives
Venous thromboembolism (VTE), also known as blood clots, is a serious medical condition that can lead to severe complications.
One of these complications is when the clot breaks off and travels through the bloodstream to the lungs, causing a blockage called Pulmonary Embolism (PE) – which can result in sudden death.
Blood clots can occur during hospitalization and surgery due to statis.
Phlebo Press® Pneumatic compression systems reduce stasis and prevent the occurrence of blood clots in the deep veins of the legs

How Phlebo Press® DVT Works
Phlebo Press® DVT uses air and a soft inflatable garment (“sleeve”) to apply compression to the leg. This replicates the action of walking and increases blood flow in the deep veins of the legs. The pump is used until the patient is ambulatory or according to physician orders.

Patented Sequential Garments
Poor patient compliance is a leading obstacle to DVT prevention. Patients can suffer from sweating, itching and discomfort from too tight sleeves or uncomfortable material. Phlebo Press® patented garments offer unique features that maximize patient comfort

Clinically Proven
Phlebo Press® DVT systems deliver the "gold standard" of pneumatic compression therapy gradient sequential, circumferential compression – with precise, calibrated pressure profiles and timings that have been clinically proven most effective for maximum increase of venous blood flow volume and velocity in the deep veins of the legs.
